Meet the Doctor

Dr. Cardakli is a Fellowship trained Glaucoma Specialist and a Board Certified Ophthalmologist.

She graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison Medical School. She successfully completed her internship, residency in Ophthalmology, and fellowship training in Glaucoma at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI.

She has been practicing in Altoona since 1993. She has extensive specialized training and experience in diagnosing and treating (both medically and surgically) various types of glaucomas, incorporating the latest technology and scientific research with compassionate patient care. Her other areas of interest include diabetic eye care and comprehensive ophthalmic care.

She has been involved in ophthalmic research, has authored several scientific articles, and given numerous talks and scientific presentations to her peers, fellows, residents, medical students in training, as well as patients.

She is an active member of American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.
